Challenge Description

Participants build sustainable habits by completing eco-friendly actions, outdoor movement, and nature-focused activities.

Each week introduces simple ways to make greener choices, including reducing single-use plastics, walking, bicycling, conserving water, eating meatless meals, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

Participants earn points for eligible activities tracked through synced fitness devices or manual entry, with progress reflected on an individual or team leaderboard throughout the challenge.

Weekly Challenge Structure

Week 1: Earn 1 point per time for No Single-Use Plastics, 3 points per mile for Walking, 3 points per mile for Bicycling, 4 points per time for sustainable commuting, 3 points per time for spending time outdoors, and 2 points per time for purchasing plants.

Week 2: Earn 1 point per time for No Single-Use Plastics, 3 points per mile for Walking, 3 points per mile for Bicycling, 2 points per time for enjoying nature, 4 points per time for conserving water, and 3 points per meal for going meatless.

Week 3: Earn 1 point per time for No Single-Use Plastics, 2 points per mile for Walking, 2 points per mile for Bicycling, 5 points per minute for gardening, 5 points per time for eating lunch outside, and 5 points per visit for visiting farmer's markets.
