June 23 is National Hydration Day! Proper hydration is vital to living a healthy life, but it’s often overlooked. It’s easy to forget to carry a water bottle on a hot day outside, but experts say that skipping out on H2O can lead to major health risks.
Some ways you can celebrate with your team:
- Start a Hydration Wellness Challenge! Choose from four themed challenges in our template library, and encourage your employees to develop healthier drinking habits.
- Share tips for staying hydrated beyond the water bottle! Nutritionists say that much of our hydration comes from what we eat: try water-heavy fruits like cantaloupe, strawberries, and watermelon, and vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage, celery, spinach, and squash.
