We’re proud to announce that we ran our first fitness step challenge at a convention. From July 26-29 we sent IncentFit employees to the National Urban League Conference in St Louis, Missouri. Any conference attendees could download the IncentFit app and compete in the Step Up! challenge. The majority of attendees didn’t have a Fitbit but that wasn’t a problem! Since IncentFit’s app integrates with Apple Health and Google Fit, we were able to track everyone’s steps automatically as soon as they downloaded our app. That enabled everyone to participate and participants LOVED IT!
The conventional hall was huge and there were exhibitors all over. This made for a perfect opportunity for attendees to rack up the steps as they walked around! In fact, just the entrance into the convention hall involved a long walk down an elegant red carpet. Attendees earned their first 1,000 steps before they even entered the main hall! By the time everything was said and done, the top 3 steppers took over 20,000 steps each! As a reward for everyone’s hard work, we gave out a bunch of prizes:
Our team had a blast and we’re excited to do more step challenges at conferences, conventions, trade-shows, and other events. Keep an eye out, you might be seeing us at the next convention you go to!
Big thanks to our sponsor, Centene, for sponsoring IncentFit’s challenge and the many prizes given out. Also a big thanks to 21 Century Expo Group for helping coordinate everything. And, of course, a big thanks to the National Urban League for all the hard work they do to support the African American community!
